Meet Rick & Kim

With over 25 years experience in the Real Estate industry, Rick joined Tarbell, Realtors in 2002 after relocating to the desert from Palos Verdes, CA.  The Coachella Valley offered lifestyle Rick desired with it’s relaxed feel, unlimited sunshine & abundant golf courses.     

Rick’s career at Xerox Corporation spanned 34 years, beginning in Rochester in the manufacturing division, next in Research Division, setting up the famed Xerox Palo Alto Research Center in California. After a second tour of duty in Rochester New York, Rick decided he needed to get back to the California sunshine. His final position at the company was at the head Xerox’s West Coast Real Estate Operations.  Rick still maintains a seat on the Board of Directors at Xerox Federal Credit Union managing $1Billion of assets.    

Originally from South Bend Indiana, Rick holds a BS in Economics from Purdue University &  an MBA in Finance from University of Wisconsin.  Rick has always been an achiever, not afraid of hard work. Rick has competed in over 30 Marathons, including the Boston Marathon & New York Marathon.    

Rick’s extensive corporate real estate background more than prepared him for a second career, his venture in residential real estate. Rick & his wife Kim are proud members of Tarbell’s prestigious “Diamond Circle” Sales Club & rank in the nations top 1% and among the Desert Area’s mega producing agents.     

Kim first met Rick while she, too was working for the company as a design consultant. Kim’s training at UCLA prepared her for positions in the corporate world that included Facilities Design and Engineering Management. Clearly, these two motivated individuals thrive in competitive environments and take every opportunity to learn new things and grow their knowledge.
